The Connection: A Call from Taylor Phillips
It all started in May 2024 when Taylor Phillips, a renowned country music songwriter and producer who has worked with the likes of Brantley Gilbert, Luke Combs, Kane Brown, and Morgan Wallen, reached out to us with an exciting request. Taylor, who was close with Jelly Roll, asked us to craft a custom poker table for his studio—a space where celebrities could unwind between recording sessions. We couldn’t have been more thrilled. We were eager for the chance to create something truly special for this star in the country music world, we asked Taylor to see if there was anyway we could get tickets to the hottest concert of the summer Morgan Wallen with Jelly Roll. Vegas Bound: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
Thanks to Taylor’s connections, we found ourselves with tickets to Morgan Wallen’s concert in Las Vegas on August 8, 2024. We decided to make the most of the moment and head to Vegas as a family for what turned out to be an unforgettable night.
The concert was held at Allegiant Stadium, and to our shock, we ended up with floor seats able to see some of the biggest artists, including Nate Smith and Ella Langley. Our son, a huge baseball fan, brought his favorite ball, hoping to get an autograph. In a surreal moment, Morgan Wallen stopped by to sign it right in front of us! It was an unforgettable moment that made the night even more special.
This concert was just the start of a series of magical moments, all thanks to Jelly Roll and his team.
Building the Blackjack Table: A Labor of Love
After this incredible experience, we wanted to show Jelly Roll our appreciation in the best way we knew how: by building him a custom blackjack table. Since it was the first blackjack table we’d ever created, we knew it had to be perfect.
Our design team got to work, collaborating closely with Jelly’s crew to incorporate everything he loved. From the custom felt featuring artwork that captured the essence of his music and spirit, to the luxurious white gator rail and gold foot rail, every detail was carefully crafted. The table wasn’t just a piece of furniture—it was a work of art designed with Jelly Roll’s unique style in mind.

The Big Reveal: A Surreal Experience at the Spurs Stadium
We coordinated with Jelly Roll’s team to deliver the table while we were in town for a job at the Lodge Card Room in San Antonio. We arrived at Spurs Stadium, where we were welcomed backstage by Jelly Roll’s road crew, including Kountry, Warren Zeiders, and Alexandra Kay. The atmosphere was electric, and the whole experience felt surreal. Despite their fame, everyone was incredibly humble and down-to-earth, making us feel right at home. The crew even invited us to dinner before the show, which added to the warmth of the entire day.
When it came time for the big reveal, Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunny, entered the media room to see the table. The reaction was everything we had hoped for—Jelly was thrilled, especially with the custom artwork. He jokingly said how relieved he was that his face wasn’t on it, and we all had a good laugh. But it was when Jelly Roll shared the meaning behind the gold cracks in the design that the table truly took on a deeper significance. The cracks were inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese art form where broken objects are mended with gold, symbolizing the beauty of imperfection. Jelly explained that this perfectly represented his latest album, Beautifully Broken, adding even more meaning to the gift.
A Night We’ll Never Forget
Delivering our first blackjack table to Jelly Roll at the Spurs Stadium was an experience we’ll never forget. It wasn’t just about the craftsmanship—it was about creating something meaningful for an artist who is as passionate about his craft as we are about ours. Jelly’s reaction was priceless and hearing him call the table the “best gift” he had received on tour made all the effort worthwhile.
